Holiday lights takedown and storage on the Treasure Coast
January takedown of holiday lights, labeled and stored until next season. Flat written price, pay after the job.
Putting lights up is the fun part. Taking them down is the job that gets put off until March. We do it in January, and we can keep them until next year.
Takedown
The crew removes the lights, clips and timers from the roofline, palms and landscape. Spiral wraps come off the trunks and limbs, and stakes are pulled from the beds. We leave the property as we found it.
Storage
- Strands are coiled, labeled by location and boxed
- Stored off site until the next season
- Rehung in the same places the next November
- Dead strands are swapped when we rehang
Storage is included in the Lights every year plan. If you only want takedown, we can return the boxes to you.
Takedown dates
Takedowns run through January. If your HOA sets a date, tell us and we will schedule inside it.
Price
Takedown typically starts around $1.50 per linear foot, lower than the install because the work is faster. You get an exact written price when you book the install.
Questions
What if my lights are not from you?
We can take down and store lights that someone else installed. Tell us how many strands and where they are.
Do I get my boxes back?
Yes, if you want them. Storage is optional unless you are on the yearly plan.
